Kapakyanan Festival is an annual celebration in the municipality of Victoria held every September 18, Oriental Mindoro. Known as the "Fruit Basket of Oriental Mindoro," Victoria takes pride in its rich agricultural lands, especially those planted with tropical fruits such as rambutan, lanzones, durian, and citrus. The term Kapakyanan, a Mangyan word meaning "kasaganaan" or abundance, captures the essence of the town’s fruitful harvest and prosperity.
This vibrant festival showcases the community’s gratitude for the bountiful yields and celebrates the hardworking farmers who make it possible. It also aims to promote local produce to broader markets, boosting Victoria’s agricultural identity and economic development.
